All funds and plans purchased for use in the SDSM&T Dining Program are for the personal use of the owner of the account or plan only and are non-transferable. The SDSM&T Dining Program funds and plans cannot be used as a gift card or gift certificate. Except as otherwise expressly stated in these terms, all SDSM&T Dining Program funds and plans are non-refundable and will expire at the earlier of the last day of enrollment or employment, as applicable, or the last day of the current semester.

Full-Access Meal Plans and Meal Plan Flex funds are non-refundable. Unused Full-Access Meal Plans and Meal Plan Flex balances expire on the last day of Spring Semester 2015.

First Year students may choose between the Gold Rush, Hardrocker 160, or Hardrocker 125. Second year and above students may select the Gold Rush, Hardrocker 160, Hardrocker 125, Hardrocker 75, or Hardrocker Flex Plans. Meal Plan Meals on the Gold Rush Plan are to be used for the owner of the plan only. Meal Plan Meals on the Hardrocker 160, Hardrocker 135, and Hardrocker 75 plans are not transferrable to the next semester and are non-refundable. Meal Plan Flex Dollars will transfer from the fall to spring semester but must be utilitzed in full a the end of spring semester. These funds are non-refundable. Refund Policy

Meal Plan Meals on the Hardrocker 160, Hardrocker 125, and Hardrocker 75 plans are not transferrable to the next semester and are non-refundable. Meal Plan Flex Dollars will transfer from the fall to spring semester but must be utilized in full at the end of spring semester. These funds are non-refundable.

Meal Plan Flex is a pre-paid fund on your meal plan and can be used in the Miner’s Shack, the Hardrocker Café, Einstein Bros Bagels, Campus C-Store and Concessions. Any Meal Plan Flex left over at the end of fall semester will be transferred to spring semester providing you maintain a meal plan. Any Meal Plan Flex left at the end of the spring semester will be forfeited. Learn more at www.minesdining.com. Most meal plans have Meal Plan Meals, which are a set number of meals students are provided each semester. These meals do not transfer from one semester to the next semester. Students can use only one meal per meal period. Students can use up to 10 of their allotted meals for a guest per semester. The Gold Rush plan does not include any guest meals due to the unlimited meals option. Students on the Gold Rush plan can treat friends to a meal using their Meal Plan Flex Dollars. All Meal Plans include a 3% bond and utility fee used to help cover the cost of building operations and improvements.
